Leo XIV announces lung surgery following discovery of nodule. Pope Leo XIV, 71, unexpectedly announced during Sunday's Angelus prayer in St. Peter's Square that he will undergo lung surgery in the coming days. FSSPX to Continue Lourdes Pilgrimage Despite Bishop’s Restrictions The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has announced that it will continue its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes.
