“Thanks to Francis, the discourse on migration is now established,” the pro-homosexual Madrid Cardinal José Cobo told ReligionDigital.org (May 23). He asks the rhetorical question why Leo XIV is going to the Canary Islands. His answer: “For the same reason Francis went to Lesbos or Lampedusa.” One of Cardinal Cobo’s most troubling ideas is his desire to “redefine” human dignity according to “the criteria of our time.” #newsFmjosltxra
The first papal encyclical on artificial intelligence, Magnifica Humanitas (May 15, 38,000 words), contains lots of truisms but also a bit of everything and nothing. The central contradiction of Magnifica Humanitas is that it condemns centralized technological power and “Babel-like” global systems, while simultaneously demanding supranational governing structures to regulate AI worldwide. In the encyclical, "Babel" becomes a symbol of a civilization built on centralized power, uniformity, and human self-sufficiency. §5 warns that private, often transnational actors possess “resources and capabilities superior to those of many governments,” giving them “impressive power over all of humanity.” However, the proposed solution is stronger international coordination and global governance of AI. The encyclical calls for an “international order” (§33), “universal fraternity” (§44), and globally shared moral principles for governing AI. §64 calls for “more effective forms of cooperation …Sateruse

Brother Ignatius laid to rest on Papa Stronsay: On 13 May, Brother Ignatius Maria, a 24-year-old monk of the Transalpine Redemptorists from New Zealand, was laid to rest on Papa Stronsay in Scotland. His body was returned to the monastery one month after he disappeared on 12 April in an incident involving the sea. Accompanied by his parents and fellow brothers, he made his final journey from Stronsay pier to his burial place on Papa Stronsay. The Transalpine Redemptorists said that Brother Ignatius Maria would be "deeply missed by us all".
Following the tragic passing of Br Ignatius Maria, on 13 May 2026 his body was committed to the grave on the the Monastery-Island of Papa Stronsay, which had been his home. He is deeply missed by us all. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
20,000 people, with an average age of 20, after having walked 100 kilometres over 3 days from Paris to Chartres Cathedral, assist a Youth Mass on Pentecost Monday, celebrated by His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke
Pope Leo XIV is ultimately not against AI but aims to guide it toward the common good, writes Nico Spuntoni on LaNuovaBq.it (May 24). He has seen a preview of the encyclical ‘Magnifica Humanitas’ that will be published tomorrow. Leo XIV writes about a crossroads between self-sufficiency and solidarity. The pious-sounding solution Leo XIV offers to avert dehumanization through AI is "the mystery of the Incarnation". As did Leo XIII facing the social question of the 19th century, Leo XIV believes to offer an answer “to another industrial revolution and the developments in artificial intelligence, which pose new challenges for the defense of human dignity, justice, and work.” Leo XIV talks consistently with the overused word “discernment” to guide the actions in an age of widespread familiarity with artificial intelligence. The encyclical warns of danger of humanity gaining excessive power over itself and against moral irresponsibility resulting from overreliance on artificial intelligence. …Sateruse
FULL DOCUMENTARY: Once Was Lost — The 70-Year Search for Chaplain Emil Kapaun Father Emil Kapaun, of Pilsen, Kansas, died in a North Korean POW camp in 1951. Since then, he's received the Medal of Honor and is a candidate for sainthood. It was thought his remains were lost forever until March 2021, when the Army made a stunning announcement. A documentary on how Father Kapaun, a war hero being considered for sainthood, was found after 70 years. WichitaEagle
His parents, Enos and Elizabeth (Hajek) Kapaun, were Czech immigrants. Possible 2008 miracle On June 29, 2008, the opening ceremony which officially opens the cause for sainthood for Kapaun was made on Father Kapaun Day, held at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen, Kansas.[46] On June 26, 2009, Andrea Ambrosi, the Roman postulator for Kapaun's cause for canonization, arrived in Wichita to interview doctors about alleged miraculous events. Among these is the claim of 20-year-old Chase Kear, who survived a severe head injury last year, in part, he and his family claim, because they petitioned Emil Kapaun to intercede for them.[14][47] Kear, a member of the Hutchinson Community College track team, fell on his head during pole vaulting practice in October 2008, but, it is said, was miraculously healed despite being near death.[47] The Rev. John Hotze, the judicial vicar for the Diocese of Wichita, and trained in canon law, will assist in investigating Kear's case.[6] Hotze …Sateruse
Worse than Germany: On 16 May, the social media account 'SG News' published a video showing a priest celebrating the Eucharist in shallow waters in Sri Lanka. The priest is wearing violet liturgical vestments. He and altar servers stand and walk in the water while the faithful gather in fishing boats.
On 22 May, the synod of the schismatic Coptic Orthodox group in Egypt decided to resume theological dialogue with the Church. This followed a telephone conversation on 15 May between Leo XIV and the Coptic leader, Tawadros II. During this call, Leo XIV told Tawadros II that homosexual couples would not be blessed in the Church. However, this claim was just words because there is lots of photographic evidence of homosexual "blessings" being performed in the Catholic Church. Tawadros II is aware of this. The Copts broke off ecumenical dialogue after Francis approved the homosexual pamphlet 'Fiducia Supplicans', which is still in place and being implemented by the Church. If words do not match reality, this is commonly called a lie. #newsPxzibulzbg
Pro-homosexual Archbishop Josef Grünwidl of Vienna - one of the many questionable appointments by Leo XIV - has confirmed that the controversial rector of St. Stephen's Cathedral, Rev Toni Faber, 64, will retire. The cathedral will receive new leadership in summer 2027. Society priest Faber has attended public dance festivals with a woman for years and has questioned celibacy. He has also supported same-sex blessings. In an interview with Austrian state radio ORF on Saturday, Archbishop Grünwidl claimed that his decision was mainly due to Rector Faber's long tenure. Archbishop Grünwidl noted that no one in the history of the Cathedral has held the post of rector for 30 years, describing Faber’s tenure as “a record”. However, the archbishop stressed that this does not mean that Rev. Faber will withdraw completely from pastoral work or leave St. Stephen’s Square. The Archbishop even praised Rev. Faber’s decades of service and emphasised their close personal relationship. “We were …Sateruse
The attack on the school dormitory was “an act of terror,” which crossed the line and again showed “the nefarious character of the Ukrainian government,” Ritter insisted. So people know, Ukraine struck the school while the children and teachers were sleeping. Ukraine and US and NATO are using the same terrorists actions as Israel is using. KILLING MANY CHILDREN!
Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández, a soft-porn author and the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, criticized the Congregation’s Notification on the Works of Fr. Jon Sobrino, S.J. from 2006. At the time, the congregation was led by Cardinal William Levada. The notification was issued with the approval of Pope Benedict XVI. It declared that some of the Spanish Jesuit’s works contain “notable discrepancies with the faith of the Church.” On May 12, speaking at Pontifical Urban University, Tucho claimed that the notification “does not encourage the effort to take seriously the context in which theological reflection takes place.” He attacked the notification for declaring that theology rooted in “the context of the poor” was “inadequate and dangerous”. Tucho also criticized the idea that theology can begin only from ecclesial tradition without serious engagement with lived historical realities. Major Ecclesiological Shift Another revelation from Tucho: “Some …Sateruse
Another revelation from Tucho: “Some time ago, in the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, the instruction given to nuncios in those countries was that they should carefully monitor possible deviations and dangers of inculturation. Now, instead, they are asked to encourage initiatives and processes of inculturation in the lands where they serve as pontifical representatives.”
The very fact that Leo allows Fernandez to remain in charge of the DDF speaks volumes about Leo - Leo and Fernandez embody the Modernist heresy - and are solidifying the errors and demonic inversion of truth warned about by Pope St. Pius X.
These past few weeks, I keep seeing old photos of churches, especially their interiors, compared beside their current designs. Honestly, it makes me stop and wonder: what exactly happened? Why did we go through this period in Church history where so many beautiful sanctuaries and high altars were destroyed or removed, only to be replaced with what many people now call “modern” sanctuaries, empty white spaces, abstract designs, plain tables, and architecture that feels disconnected from the rest of the church? Of course, some churches were damaged by wars, fires, earthquakes, and natural disasters. That’s understandable. But what confuses me is that instead of restoring these churches to their original beauty, many decided to completely change direction. Why? What was the reason behind abandoning centuries of sacred art, architecture, and symbolism? Some churches still have their old high altars thankfully preserved, but sadly they are no longer used. The very altar where the Holy …Sateruse
